It is full of red grapes, crisp apples, pecans, and the perfect blend of seasonings! I've been making this copycat recipe for years, and everyone always begs me for the recipe! It is delicious and so easy to make at home! Serve it with the classic southern dish Pear Salad or easy Air Fryer Tater Tots!

The Fancy Nancy Chicken Salad is so good that it can be eaten plain, in a salad, in a lettuce wrap, or in a sandwich; the options are endless! I love eating it with a fresh croissant, but when I want to save some carbs and calories, I opt for a lettuce wrap - YUM! The chicken salad itself is SUPER easy to make!


This chicken salad is a great meal to make for new mom's, to bring to a potluck, or to use for a meal-train. When I bring it to people, I always pack the chicken salad, some croissants, lettuce, and tomato slices. People LOVE it! The chicken salad will keep in the fridge for a week.


I don't recommend freezing chicken salad, however you can freeze shredded chicken to have on hand to use in this chicken salad! Having frozen chicken on hand is great because it's versatile and can be used in so many recipes!

Wow! Thanks for this. Mine is similar but without the mustard, hot sauce, and Worcestershire. That might be the flavor that I am missing. I'm giving this one a try as well. For this recipe, I have chosen to cook chicken tenders in chicken stock. I think this adds layers of flavor to the recipe. Good quality chicken stock is made with carrots, celery, and onion. The chicken tenders pick up some of this flavor.


If you dine at the Chicken Salad Chick you can enjoy your chicken salad in two ways. One is a scoop of chicken salad on a bed of leaf lettuce. The other way you can have chicken salad is on a sandwich. Their sandwiches come with leaf lettuce and ripe tomatoes.


The family loves this! I add diced cucumber, sliced black olives, shredded carrots, and pulled chicken (I just use a rotisserie chicken from the store). I usually toss the chicken in some Greek dressing. Then I serve it with warm pita bread and tzatziki.

Great recipe. I have never had the PF Changs version so I have nothing to compare it to but its is very good, I will definitely be doubling the recipe next time. It is also easy and quick to make Ive made this with both ground chicken and ground turkey and it turned out good. I also like to use romaine lettuce because it adds some crunch and it also it acts as a handle.


10 stars. Made this four times. Once with chicken, once with beef, once with turkey. All pretty good. Personally I double the hosin sauce because I like it, andd a grated carrot, and garnish with cilantro. But. The absolute best was when I seared some ahi tuna then rough chopped it and served it separately to combine in the lettuce cups at the table. The ahi stayed rare (my preferred way) and I got all the yummy goodness of everything else. This is my go to recipe. Fast. Easy. Tasty.


Love this recipe! Always looking for ways to incorporate veggies, so I added finely diced red & green pepper plus diced mushrooms (I cook these down before adding to chicken). I added some brown rice for texture and to stretch the mixture for feeding a bunch of people. The sauce is so good!
